live art modeling

i was invited to model for a live art event last weekend. i was actually really nervous but it was fun! i just sat there and changed poses for an hour for people who want to practice sketching or work on their photography.

we hit up our neighborhood for some yummies and found jade teahouse. i think its my new fav. the fries are so good and the tea parties so fun!

redwoods in janvier is just a kiss away

driving from portland to cali was a long day. setting up camp in the dark freezing forgetting hatchet and wet kindling made it hard. bear lockers and scaring the kids with bear stories at night is my fav. driving truck down a muddy slippery mountain through two deep streams a huge mud hole and some downed trees to get to beach was really scary. truck not starting after being chased by waves on beach was not fun. seeing elk was neat. breaking into locked gate to hike see bear foot prints and hug huge trees was great. visiting granny then throwing hitch hikers with dogs into the back of pickup and taking them to the highest bridge in oregon then to the beach and back to portland with us was fun too!

larch mountain bone yard

bummed cause the rest of the road was closed due to snow but lucky cause our detour led our feet straight to the boneyard. this is a horse.

kidical mass!

we ventured out in the rain to join the kidical mass of bikers out to take over the streets. all excited we rode but after only a few minutes the group stopped at a coffee shop. since we didnt want to do the coffee thing we broke off and went on our own little ride. park rain and fun!

flower huggers club you hippy kids

its a club for your kids and mine! we'll be gettin some litter off the streets and recycling and visiting metro and other fun stuff..

and i could use some new clothes

if i cant fly with a balloon i might not be able to breathe..

has anyone any info on cluster ballooning? i dont want to go high i just want to run and jump and get off the ground a little.. i found this pic online. where do you get such wonderful toys?

dont people know that animals are not garbage

along the road east before eagle creek we found some animal food bags with animals stuffed in them. one was a baby cow. i couldnt tell what was in the other bag....
